Jamaica Medical Mission

June 2018

The Jamaica Outreach Ministry at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church in Tampa, Florida has conducted a medical mission to Jamaica every year for the past 15 years. This mission treats about 400-500 patients. The patients are screened for health conditions and are given medicine and vitamins.

Lavande de la Paloma donated $1000 that was used to purchase medical supplies for the BBIC mission to Jamaica that took place from June 1 to June 10, 2018.

During the 9 day medical mission, the team provided medical care to Fort Augusta Prison, Point Hill Clinic, Waterford Baptist Church, Hotel Employee Facility and Old Harbor Bay Health Fair. In the photos above, patients wait to be seen by doctors.

Along with vitamins and medicine, patients were also given a bag containing soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other necessities.

This is the team that went on the medical mission trip.
